Kindergarten's spring performance was themed "Under the Sea", so both grades helped decorate the hallway and backdrop with fish art! First Grade's Wire Fish MobilesThese are a little hard to see in the pic of the hallway but they are displayed in the top of the "sea". These were QUITE a challenge for my first graders- some even broke down in tears of exasperation. Some of their little fingers really struggled with twisting and wrapping the wires, but ultimately it was good for them. It was a good lesson in perseverance AND continuing to develop these fine motor skills. They wow'd themselves with their finished fish! Kindergarten drew, cut out, and decorated their 2-sided paper fish. These were a quick easy project to get some color in the hall and on the curtain for their performance!
