Kindergarten created some snowy collages in hopes of a Snow Day (we only got half of a Snow Day, but I'll take it!)... They turned out really cute First grade displayed their Miro-inspired abstract paintings. They learned about organic shapes and how to paint a "wash" to fill a background. We also began working on our projects for the Art Show coming up in March! Stay tuned for finished products! Lastly, the GAEA Capitol Art Exhibit showcased awesome art from all over the state, and I selected 2 students to represent Riverside!
